Kesadaran Ekologi Mahasiswa Kristen: Antara Ajaran Iman dan Realita

The increasingly massive environmental crisis demands a repositioning of the role of Christian faith in preserving nature. Christian students, as agents of change, bear a significant theological responsibility based on the creation mandate to cultivate and care for the earth (Genesis 2:15). This study aims to explore the extent to which Christian students' ecological awareness is integrated with their understanding of their faith, and how the concept of stewardship influences their daily environmental behavior. Using [quantitative/qualitative] methods involving Christian students at [Name of Campus/Organization], this study examines the correlation between understanding of creation care and practical ecological action. The results show that although students recognize nature as God's creation that must be respected, this awareness is often theoretical and has not significantly impacted environmentally friendly lifestyles. The dominance of secular anthropocentric views and the lack of space for implementing ecological faith on campus are major challenges. This study concludes the need for a revitalization of ecotheology in discipleship and the curriculum of Christian higher education so that students are able to realize their faith holistically, not only in relationships with God and fellow human beings, but also with all of His creation
