Trend Perkembangan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP di Daerah Tertinggal : Analisis Deret Waktu (Times Series Analyses)

This study aims to analyze trends in the learning outcomes of junior high school students in disadvantaged areas using a time series analysis approach. A quantitative method was employed utilizing secondary data in the form of students’ average learning achievement scores over the past five years. The findings indicate a gradual improvement in students’ learning outcomes throughout the observation period, although fluctuations were observed in certain years. These fluctuations were influenced by several factors, including limited educational facilities and infrastructure, teacher quality, and the socio-economic conditions of the local community. The results provide valuable insights into the dynamics of academic achievement in disadvantaged areas and may serve as a reference for policymakers in designing more effective strategies to improve educational quality in a sustainable manner.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren perkembangan hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di daerah tertinggal menggunakan pendekatan analisis deret waktu (time series analysis). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder berupa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa selama lima tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara bertahap selama periode pengamatan, meskipun terdapat fluktuasi pada beberapa tahun tertentu. Fluktuasi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, seperti keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, kualitas tenaga pendidik, serta kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai dinamika capaian akademik siswa di daerah tertinggal dan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam merumuskan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.
